Doing what we do each week is a “job” for most photographers. We’re proud to say that our photographers are different; They love to have fun and they have fun doing what they do every day. Now combine that with a cool, fun bride and groom like Tara and Gregg, and you have a recipe for great wedding images to be created. We knew as soon as we saw Gregg’s Converse sneakers we were with an awesome couple 🙂 The wedding at the Edison Ballroom was gorgeous, and just simply, FUN! The décor by the ever creative Events by Reuven were very special, and the crowd carried on to the wee hours with music by Manhattan Swing Orchestra. Our favorite part was photographing around Times Square, it really doesn’t get much better than this!
Last week, Brian had the pleasure of photographing Jennifer and Adam’s engagement shoot at Citi Field. What an incredible experience it was! We brought along our film crew to capture the unique shoot. The couple were so natural together, allowing us to film their undeniable chemistry. Check the video out by clicking below. Can’t wait for the wedding at Capitale in August!
Our studio’s association with the Leica brand goes back to the late 1930’s when Fred Marcus started shooting photographs with a Leica M3 camera. Last year the Leica Gallery did a retrospective of our 70 years in the business of recording people’s most important days. We were truly honored. Now, we have been asked to be a part of an amazing exhibit that will run from June 8th to August 4th this year at the Leica Gallery located at 670 Broadway in Manhattan. The exhibit, Central Park: A Group Portrait will be featuring some on the work Andy Marcus has done in Central Park along with the work of many of Andy’s iconic idols in the photography world. Those include Bruce Davidson, Elliott Erwitt, Ralph Gibson, Saul Leiter, Mary Ellen Mark and tennis legend Arthur Ashe’s wife Jeanne Moutoussamy-Ashe will also be shown. We cannot wait to meet them at the Opening Reception on Tuesday, 12 June, 6-8 PM. Hope to see you all there!
