When we met Alexis and Ryan in Central Park for their engagement portraits, we knew that they were going to be a great couple to work with. They were calm, collected, down to earth, and just all around fun to be around! When asked how they met, they smiled at one another and in unison said, “Hometown sweethearts.” They were very friendly growing up, sharing the same elementary school, middle and high school, but it wasn’t until well after college years that they hit it off at a mutual friend’s housewarming party. It wasn’t long after that, that they were having a housewarming party of their own! Their wedding day took place at Gotham Hall New York. We asked Ryan to share a couple memories from the day, and he told us this. “Our wedding was truly incredible. Despite the dark clouds in the forecast, it turned out to be one of the nicest days of the summer – Sunny and one of the only days in August with low humidity. Choosing Gotham Hall as the venue was remarkable and set the bar high for an incredible evening from the start. We were stunned to see how beautiful the ceremony and ballroom came out, thanks to Kim of Marquis Florals and Bentley Meeker Lighting. Allen Kurtz, the managing director of Gotham Hall was fantastic and completely took the stress out of the equation from our first visit with him, to the end of our special night. Our photographer, Herman, was also a pleasure to deal with and we’re so grateful that he was able to capture all of the incredible moments during the affair. We knew that Fred Marcus Photography was the best in the business but Herman and team were still able to blow us away with the craftsmanship, patience, and skills! Our photoshoot captured the attention of the locals, tourists, bikers, taxi riders etc. It was a great moment and was rather surprising to see so many warm-hearted New Yorkers’ proclaiming their well wishes and congratulations.” And we know, you’re wondering who he got his chic tuxedo from….One of Ryan’s close friends who is a remarkable tailor, Stephen Seo. HBO’s Ari Gold and Dana Gordon (Jeremy Piven and Constance Zimmer) were seen donning Stephen’s bespoke/custom-made work for many Entourage episodes.Well, Alexis and Ryan, we enjoyed the day just as much as you guys did. It was certainly one to remember.
