Sanae & David

How did you and David meet?  We met at a wedding back in 2008. We were both at the “singles” table.

Standout Memory of the night: While I didn’t expect a calm, tame crowd, I didn’t necessarily think that Dave and I would be thrown around the room like we were. It was pretty incredible! I really had no idea what we were in for … Dave even lost his shoe in one of the crowd-surfing incidents. We love that our friends and family brought such an amazing energy to the night, and wanted to help us celebrate in every way possible.

Honeymoon Location: Hawaii-The Big Island, Maui and Kauai

One piece of advice that you could give to other couples: The one piece of advice we heard time and time again was to ENJOY the wedding. The night goes by in a flash, and it’s worth strategizing a bit in terms of how you spend your time so you don’t have any regrets. With that said, we tried to focus on greeting guests during cocktail hour, so that when the reception started, we could spend the majority of our time on the dance floor. Since you don’t have time to speak with everyone at length (especially if you are having a larger wedding), it’s important to find the people you don’t regularly see and spend a few quality minutes greeting them.

Wedding Dress: Ulla-Maija

Groom’s Tux: Burberry

Testimonial: Dave and I just finished watching the wedding trailer and the full video; we are struggling to find the right words to explain how unbelievable these videos are! They are beyond anything we could have ever hoped for. We watched the trailer at least a dozen times and got emotional every time. It was such an incredibly beautiful recap of what was the most spectacular night. This really exceeded all expectations. We can’t wait to share it with everyone. Next…the full video. We are so lucky you and your team were there to film this night.  Absolutely perfect. From the bottom of our hearts…THANK YOU! We couldn’t have asked for a better team to part of our wedding. We are forever grateful.

Julia & Evan

How did Evan propose?  At the Crosby Street Hotel in Soho. He brought me up to the room – popped the question and my best girlfriends came over right after to celebrate. He had arranged for a brunch with our family the next morning followed by an informal “engagement party” with our friends out in the garden. Aside from our wedding it was the best weekend of my life!

Standout Memory of the night: Sitting at the long dinner table listening to speeches…was amazing to see everyone there for us. I still get emotional when I look through pictures of everyone sitting there.

Honeymoon Location: Thailand and the Maldives- Incredible!

One piece of advice that you could give to other couples: Regarding the wedding: Try not to have too many “wedding fights”. Every couple has them…it will all be over in one quick evening and those issues will never come up again so don’t waste your time on it. Regarding life: laugh as much as possible! Evan makes me laugh every single day!

Wedding Dress: Monique Lhullier – got it at Kleinfelds.

Groom’s Tux: Custom by Astor and Black

Bridesmaids’ Gift and Groomsmen’ Gift:  I gave my bridesmaids their dresses and Evan gave his guys personalized dopp kits.

Something Borrowed and Something Blue: I wore my grandmothers wedding band and a blue Hanky Panky!

Jennifer & Gary, The Yale Club

We always love hearing kind words from our clients: “We love, love, love our photos. They came out amazing! Hermin was wonderful. He got every moment. The ones outside the church in front of the car and in Grand Central are especially amazing! Even the getting ready shots are so adorable! We are dying to share these with all of our friends and family.”
