Photograph of the week: During a warm sunny day in mid-October, we had the pleasure of photographing Danielle & Morris’s wedding at the Essex House Hotel NYC. Morris awaited anxiously for Danielle as she made her way to the balcony of her suite to see him for the first time. Take a glimpse of their first look below. They were so excited to see each other and we were equally excited to capture the moment!
How did Jeff propose? We had a double date with friends of ours and when we got to the restaurant, Jeff had decorated the private wine cellar room with 100s of roses and proposed. There was no double date, he fooled me! He had all my favorite foods for dinner, and then a big party with all our family friends after dinner to celebrate.
Standout Memory of the night: Our friends decided to pick us up and have us ‘crowd surf’ around the dance floor!
Honeymoon Location: We went on a ‘mini-moon’ to the Riviera Maya in Mexico. We plan to go on an African Safari in the Summer of 2015.
One piece of advice that you could give to other couples: Live up the night – this is your night and everyone is there to celebrate you both- have the best time of your life.
Groom’s Tux: Martin Greenfield Custom Tux, Martin Greenfield Clothiers
Bridesmaids’ Gift and Groomsmen’ Gift: Bridesmaids received diamond personalized initial bracelets, personalized sweatshirts, and a day of ’emergency kit’. Groomsman got personalized bobbleheads, bowties, socks, and shaves the day of the wedding.
Something Borrowed: My moms diamond necklace with sapphire stones throughout. A two-in-one!
When two people REALLY love each other it shows and that was the case with Paige & Alan. Our trip to Central Park was more than fun it was an adventure. These two were down for anything and everything and we totally LOVE them. Check out just a few shots from their engagement shoot here.
