Rachel & David

How did David propose? David proposed at one of our favorite restaurants in the Lower East Side and sneakily organized my three maids of honor to capture the whole event on film. We then went to the bar next door where many more of our friends were waiting to surprise me and continue celebrating.

Standout Memory of the night:  Our favorite memory of the night was right after the ceremony where it was just David and me together.  We were able to drink champagne, eat some food, and just laugh about how surreal the whole day had been so far, and how we still had an entire night left of celebrating ahead of us!

Honeymoon Location: For our honeymoon we went to Bali, Lombok, and Honk Kong.

One piece of advice that you could give to other couples:  Don’t sweat the small stuff.  Weddings are about love and family, make sure those themes remain throughout the whole process.

Wedding Dress: Monique Lhuillier, The Plumed Serpent in Westport, CT

Groom’s Tux: Calvin Klein, Men’s Wearhouse

Bridesmaids’ Gift: Robes for getting ready and shawls to wear with their dress

Groomsmen’ Gift: Cigar cases with engraved lighters which we broke out at the after party.

Something blue and something borrowed: My something blue was my mother’s garter that she wore for her wedding and also a blue muff  that was a gift from my Grandmother when I was a little girl. My something borrowed was my grandfather’s wedding band, which is the ring I was married with.

TESTIMONIAL: Felix was incredible to work with. After getting to know him during our engagement shoot, he knew exactly what we would want for our wedding day.  David and I both wanted elegant, fun, and creative pictures, which Felix captured perfectly.  At the beginning of the day I expressed to Felix that I wanted as many pictures with foliage as possible – he then took it one step further than just a foliage background and physically hoisted me into the tree!  It is our favorite picture of the day!

Jacqui & David

How did David propose? Breakfast in Bed

Standout Memory of the night:  Walking down the aisle after David and I said “I do”. I was overcome with happiness that I just married an amazing man and we had the most important people in our lives there to witness it.

Honeymoon Location: We went on a “mini moon” at Amanyara Resort in Turks & Caicos and Venice and Lake Como in May.

One piece of advice that you could give to other couples:  Enjoy every second because the night really does go so fast.  I also would advise them to go with what’s in front of you and not get bothered when things don’t go as planned.

Wedding Dress: Romana Keveza, Chic Parisian in Coral Gables, Florida

Groom’s Tux: Ermenegildo Zegna, Shirt by Tom Ford in Boca Raton, Fl

Bridesmaids’ Gift: Monogrammed silk robes and Henri Bendel cosmetic bags.

Groomsmen’ Gift:  Monogrammed Eton Satin dress shirts and Brioni bow ties.

Something Blue and Something Borrowed: Something blue was my “I Do” Hanky Panky underwear. My something borrowed were my mother in law’s diamond flower earrings.

TESTIMONIAL: We honestly couldn’t have received more compliments about the photographer, and we couldn’t agree more.  Brian and Co. from a professional standpoint made sure we took advantage of every beautiful angle the Breakers had to offer.  And from a personal standpoint, they couldn’t have been more friendly and enjoyable to work with!   Can’t wait to see how all the photos turn out!

The Breaker’s Palm Beach

Jacqui & David got married last week at one of the most historic hotels in the country – a bit of history…

The Breakers Hotel is a historic hotel in Palm Beach, Florida.  First known as The Palm Beach Inn, it was opened on January 16, 1896 by Henry Flager, to accommodate travelers on his Florida East Coast Railway. It occupied the beachfront portion of the grounds of the Royal Poinciana Hotel, which Flagler had opened beside Lake Worth Lagoon facing the inland waterway in 1894. Guests began requesting rooms “over by the breakers” so Flagler renamed it The Breakers Hotel in 1901.

Brian and Juan from a professional standpoint made sure we took advantage of every beautiful angle the Breakers had to offer.  And from a personal standpoint, they couldn’t have been more friendly and enjoyable to work with! We honestly couldn’t have received more compliments about the photographer, and we couldn’t agree more.  Can’t wait to see how all the photos came out!” -Jacqui and David
