Jaclyn & Trevor

How did Trevor propose? After six years together, Trevor decided there would be no better place than the most romantic city in the world to propose to Jaclyn. So on their first evening in Paris, Trevor surprised Jaclyn with a private boat ride on The Seine and asked her to marry him in front of The Eiffel Tower.

Standout Memory of the night:  Our first dance. We were dancing and spinning in a room full of everyone we love, yet we felt like we were completely alone just the two of us. It was an incredible!

Honeymoon Location: We went to Santorini, Positano and Capri.

One piece of advice that you could give to other couples:  When the day finally arrives, just relax and have fun! It is so special to have everyone you love all together, enjoy every minute of it!

We gave the bridesmaids custom robes to get ready in, as well as a bracelet and earrings to wear the day of. The groomsmen received Ray Bans, pocket squares and cuff links.

Something Blue and Something Borrowed: My something blue was a custom garter my mom had made with lace from my grandmother’s wedding dress which included blue ribbon. My something borrowed was my mother’s bracelet.

Megan & Eric

How did Eric propose? We had just gotten home to NYC from a two-week cruise in Europe on Wednesday, June 4th.  On Friday, June 6th, when I got home from work, I was shocked to see that there were hundreds of rose petals spread on the floor, leading from the doorway to the bedroom.  Eric was there, waiting in a suit (for almost 2 hours! Oops!) and gave the most heart-warming speech before getting down on one knee.  After I said yes, and still in shock, Eric said he had made plans for dinner uptown.  Once we got there, I was surprised, yet again, to see that he arranged for my parents to fly in for this joyous occasion. The rest of the weekend was filled with family and friends.

Standout Memory of the night:  We don’t have one standout memory.  The whole night was magical, we loved every last detail.

Honeymoon Location: Hawaii.  We started at the St. Regis Princeville in Kauai and then the Four Seasons in Maui.

One piece of advice that you could give to other couples:  Don’t stress about the little things.  Remember to eat and stay hydrated!  Stay by each other’s side.  Try to enjoy every moment, the night goes by so quickly!

Wedding Dress: Vera Wang

Groom’s Tux: Ralph Lauren Black Label at Ralph Lauren

Bridesmaids’ Gift and Groomsmen’ Gift:

For the bridesmaids: Hair & Makeup, matching pajama sets to wear while we got ready, canvas totes and custom tassel necklaces.
For the groomsmen: David Yurman cufflinks to wear at the wedding.

Something Blue and Something Borrowed: Something borrowed was my late great-grandmothers bracelet and veil, as well as my mother’s earrings.  My something blue was worn underneath my dress

Testimonial:  Wow. Felix was amazing.  We cannot thank him and his team enough for capturing our wedding day. He was direct, kind, funny and a pleasure to work with. We appreciate that he hit every picture on our list as well as doing what he does best during the event.  We had a very hard time picking our favorites.  The pictures speak for themselves.  Thank you!

Kaila & Donnie

How did Donnie propose? We had been together over seven years, and for the last three, Donnie had been begging me to go on a hike with him. On August 24, 2014 I finally obliged. The trail was located in Westhampton on Long Island. It is ~1 mile long through the woods and opens up to a secluded beach. Donnie’s Mom, Judy, has a known passion for collecting beach glass so we decided to collect a few pieces for her. After ~5 minutes or so I stumbled across a picturesque bottle in the sand that appeared to have something inside it. Inside the bottle, I found a message which read “Will you marry me?”. At this point, I was shaking and Donnie was now on one knee and there was no more confusion as to what was happening. A few moments later, I realized Donnie’s two best friends were floating in a boat off shore photographing the entire thing. We headed back to the house where the surprises continued. Donnie had arranged for both of  our families and closest friends to be there for the celebration.

Standout Memory of the night:  It may sound cliche, but the first moment seeing each other as I walked down the aisle. We did not see each other before the ceremony and it is certainly a moment that will be impossible to forget. I was so nervous and excited at the same time – it was a rush! The entire night we felt on top of the world. At one point, someone asked Donnie how he felt and he exclaimed “I feel like I could run for President!”

Honeymoon Location: Athens, Mykonos & Santorini, Greece

One piece of advice that you could give to other couples:  Make sure to spend time with each other throughout the night. It is very easy to get wrapped up in the to-do’s and making sure to say hi to everyone. What you will remember the most are the moments you shared with each other – after all, it is about you!
