Erica & Jessica: West Village Engagement Session – New York City

Engagement sessions are about making our couples feel comfortable in front of the camera. It’s also a great way for us to learn about our couples in preparation for the big day. Erica & Jessica are getting married next year on the upper west side of Manhattan so we thought it’d be fun to photograph their engagement session on the opposite side of the city, the West Village. We spent a sunny afternoon last week exploring the charm of the west village streets with our beautiful couple. E & J were naturals. Their love and emotion towards each other was so easy to capture and needed almost no guidance. We cannot wait to capture their union when they exchange rings next year! In the meantime, enjoy some of our favorite moments from their shoot. Congrats ladies!!

“From start to finish, the day of our wedding exceeded all our expectations. We couldn’t be happier with how all the details turned out and the amazing vendors that helped to make everything possible. My favorite memory from the day was getting to see Max for the first time. I will never forget the feeling I had walking up to him. I was just as nervous then as I was on our first date! We had our first look outside on 5th Avenue and even though there were tons of strangers watching, it felt like we were the only two on the sidewalk. Felix made Max and I feel so comfortable and natural. We were able to focus on each other and truly enjoy the most amazing day surrounded by everyone we love in our favorite city in the world.” – Marisa & Max
