With a little help from 7 of her bridesmaids and a very dedicated bridesman, Stephanie walked out of The Palace Hotel and up 51st street towards St Patrick’s Cathedral where her handsome groom Jonathan was waiting under the alter. Stephanie’s father (who was fighting back tears) escorted her down the aisle as the congregation of all their family and friends were there to greet her. Stephanie looked breathtakingly gorgeous and Jonathan’s glowing smile was heart warming as he saw her walking towards him. After their beautiful ceremony all the guests paraded down 50th street towards The Pool restaurant for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. In the meantime, Stephanie and Jonathan headed back to The Palace Hotel to spend a few minutes alone and freshen up.
After a glass (or 2) of champagne, and now in her 2nd of 3 dresses, Stephanie could breathe a little easier. The stressful part of the day was now behind them and it was time to celebrate! On the way to join their guests at The Pool, we had a lot of fun taking candid photos of the happy couple on the streets of New York. Since they opted to not have a “first look” moment before the ceremony, this was an ideal time for us to get a lot of beautiful bride & groom photos.
The rest of the night went off without a hitch. When cocktail hour ended everyone proceeded to the candlelit ballroom for dinner and dancing. After cutting their wedding cake and a handful of heartfelt speeches, the guests entered The Grill room for the after party. Some of our favorite shots are from when Stephanie (rockin’ her 3rd dress) and Jonathan poured endless bottles of champagne down a 7 tier tower of glasses. They sipped champagne with the late-night crowd, and together sang their favorite tunes around two dueling pianos. We can’t imagine a more satisfying end to a dream of a day.
