How did Glenn propose? Glenn proposed after taking Emily to their favorite restaurant, Il Mulino. He was forced to propose right in the middle of the street because Emily wouldn’t be swayed from her desire to go shopping at Bloomingdales, though he planned to take her to Central Park. Glenn then surprised Emily with both of their families waiting to celebrate with cocktails at the Four Seasons Hotel.
Standout Memory of the night: We absolutely loved taking pictures in Central Park before our wedding. Us, along with our bridal party of 16 walked from our hotel to the Boathouse. Along the way, Felix stopped traffic on 5th avenue for us to get some awesome shots. Bystanders in the park cheered us on and snapped pictures of us as we walked. Felix even convinced a petty cab to allow us to hijack his ride for a few photos!
Honeymoon Location: We went for a short trip to Dorado Beach, Puerto Rico and are planning our honeymoon to Italy next summer.
One piece of advice that you could give to other couples: Enjoy every minute of it, starting from day one. Don’t get overwhelmed by the details, it all works out in the end!
Wedding Dress: Kenneth Pool, Amsale
Groom’s Tux: Ermenegildo Zegna and was bought at the Ermenegildo Zegna store in Manhasset, NY.
Bridesmaids’ Gift and Groomsmen’ Gift: The bridesmaids were gifted a Tiffany LOVE bracelet and the groomsmen were given personalized Cartier money clips.
Something Borrowed, Old and Blue: Something old was Emily’s grandmother’s ring, something blue was Emily’s blue pedicure, and something borrowed was Emily’s sister-in-law’s bracelet (which she was married in).
Testimonial: Working with the Fred Marcus crew was a seamless, easy, and wonderful experience from the moment we met them. Peggy was so sweet and helpful, and gave great advice along the way! Felix and Leslie were both such incredible photographers – so professional and talented. We were so lucky to work with both of them. They know exactly when and where to take their photos and produce incredible work. They learned our family information and who to take photos with (without the help of us, because we slacked on sending them the info.!) Felix was efficient and creative and Leslie made even a camera shy groom feel comfortable during the engagement shoot. Thank you Fred Marcus team!
